The Opportunity
Bright Will Consulting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our team. As a Loan Officer, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the loan application process, helping them secure financing for their real estate investments. You will work closely with customers, processing teams, and underwriters to ensure a seamless and efficient loan experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate investors and other clients.
- Review loan applications to ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Evaluate borrower credit profiles, property information, and financial statements to determine loan eligibility.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on loan status.
- Collaborate with the Processing and Underwriting teams to ensure smooth loan closures.
- Manage a pipeline of loan applications, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, lending products, and company policies.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma, accountant degree or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in a lending, real estate, or financial services role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of real estate lending and industry regulations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or Calyx Point software is preferred.
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM CST
- Salary: per hour (Non-exempt, overtime eligible)
