1. Who we are

Mungoum is published by BrightWill Technologies, a company registered under the laws of Texas, United States, with registered address at 24219 South Sparrow Trail, 70242, Texas, United States.

2. Overview

Mungoum is a traditional Nguemba calendar app (8-day cycle, Bamougoum, West Cameroon). It works entirely offline: no account, no sign-up, no BrightWill server.

3. Data collected by the app

None. Mungoum does not request, collect, or store any personal data. The calendar is computed directly on your device.

In particular, we do not collect: name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or payment data.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Mungoum displays banner ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect:

• the device advertising identifier (Advertising ID / IDFA);
• IP address;
• technical device information (model, OS, language);
• ad interaction data (impressions, clicks).

This data is processed by Google, not by BrightWill. Learn more: policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Consent: if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your consent is requested on first launch before any personalised ads are shown. You can change it at any time from within the app.

Opting out of personalised ads:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID
• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking

5. Other third-party services

• Google Fonts: the app's fonts may be downloaded from Google's servers on first launch (your IP address is then visible to Google).
• Donation link: the "About" screen opens an external website in your browser. That website has its own privacy policy.

6. Children's privacy

Mungoum is a general-audience app and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data about children.

7. Your rights

Since Mungoum holds no data about you, there is nothing to access or delete at BrightWill. For advertising data, you can exercise your rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) directly with Google or through the settings above. Any question: contact@brightwill.org

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
